I would be willing to bet that a huge majority of you, like me, love yourself a cuppa and have at least one daily. Do you remember to take your vitamins every day? I don’t. The last box I bought a few months ago is rarely taken out of the cupboard. I am here to tell you there is a tea out there that’s infused with vitamins which help you maintain your general health and wellbeing. OK so it’s not the milk and sugar kind, more the green & herbal kind but they still give you that comforting feeling that you can only get from a warm drink. These teas are far better for you than some of their highly caffeinated cousins. Each blend is infused with up to 100% of your NRV of vitamins as well as herbs, fruit and of course tea. I’ve been trying out Tea Plus Energy, Tea Plus Cleanse and Tea Plus Sleep teas.
Energy
Tea Plus Energy (rassberry and pomegranate flavour) has yerba mate, which can boost energy and mental focus and ginseng which can help fight tiredness and give energy levels a boost. It has a huge amount of B vitamins in it including B6 and B12 which aid in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and I think it did help with that (us parents need all the help we can get right). Not in a big hit double espresso kinda way, more a gradual build up over the week of feeling slightly less lethargic kinda way.
Cleanse
Tea Plus Cleanse (apple and blackcurrent flavour) has milk thistle in it, now I’m not an expert on herbs but I do know that milk thistle is good for your liver. It also has ginger in it which I know is good for anti sickness. Therefore I couldn’t help think this tea may be particularly great after a few too many gins! Unfortunately I’m on the dry Jan bandwagon so I will have to confirm at a later date. The idea is that you drink it after a heavy meal or work out. I’m not sure a well being brand can promote a hangover drink! I’ll be honest, I couldn’t quite get this one to fit into my daily routine but I drank a couple for the purpose of the review. The cleanse tea contains selenium which is good for your hair and nails.
Sleep
Tea Plus Sleep (blackcurrant and cherry). This is by far my favorite. I really enjoy having a cup of sleep tea before bed and I do think it has a calming affect. This one is a completely caffeine free Rooibos tea and has Chamomile and lavender in there with passion fruit flower. Passion Fruit Flower helps with sleep disorders and anxiety. I have added Vitamin Tea Plus into my self care routine.
They all taste good but I do like herbal and green teas. If you don’t then you may find you’re not a fan. The benefits may out way the taste for you if that is the case. The first thing I noticed is they don’t just smell nice and taste of nothing like some fruit teas. They do taste how they smell which was a lovely surprise.

I’d like to thank Tea Plus for sending me samples of their teas for the purpose of this review.
